Hey Friends!

Start spreadin' the news: [Our Resolution] is coming to NYC!!!

I wanted to let you all know that I am finally speaking in New York City and I have to say that it's nice to be home!

I'll be speaking at the ADA’s Diabetes EXPO at the Javits Center on September 26, 2009 at 11am! The event is FREE for the public, and I would love to see you there! Please RSVP at www.ourresolution.com.

I will be joining members of the [Our Resolution] team to talk about the options folks have to battle their Type 2 Diabetes. I'm really lucky to be able to share my story with you all. In addition to sharing my personal experience, I'll be joined by one of the best bariatric surgeons in the world, Dr. Franceso Rubino and Dr. Judith Korner, a wonderful endocrinologist and obesity guru. They will be able to answer any questions you have about Type 2 Diabetes, obesity and bariatric surgery.

Come join us! I'll be signing books after the workshop at the Covidien booth -- my gift to you all -- so please come on down!!!(sounds like The Price is Right game show--ha!!).

For more information, please check out www.diabetes.org and click on EXPO!

If you cannot attend -- NO SWEAT! The [Our Resolution] team will air this workshop LIVE on the Internet! I will send the link to you as soon as I can. And if you have question, you can ask them during this webinar, or send us your questions or comments to us at the website for a whole year -- I'll be waiting :)

Have a great week and check back tomorrow for more details.

With love and respect,

Hi Stacey
I remember you when.... We were kids together (should I say how many years ago? Well lets just say it was at least 10 years ago). You always had a weight problem but I didn't but you had one thing more that I didn't also...you had a sense of humor. You always made me laugh. You were and I am sure still are one of the funniest people I have ever met. I knew you were hurting but you still had time to laugh.
Stacey you have been through so much and I have been following your story. We have not seen each other in many years. Yet I know much of what you have been through becasue you are so generous to share it with us. You are a hero and imagine I played with a hero as a little girl. I am the lucky one.
I will try to come see you September 26th and sit in that audience so tall and proud that I knew that lady that I know that lady and if I can not make it I will be watching on the computer.
Thanks you Stacey for being an inspiration even to us skinny chicks!
Love you

Saw you Saturday and thought it was great. You in person is even more motivating than you in writing or on TV. Thank you for the kind word you gave me

I give you credit Stacey for putting yourself out there for all of to see while you go through your life. I know it can not be easy. I had the surgery three years ago and in the beginning it was great. Yet the last eight months I have been fighting with 50 pounds. I originally lost 260. I am so angry with myself, the doctors, my family, everyone. I know you must know the feeling but you are still brave enough to go out there and talk. Thanks for your strength.
